MICHAEL Sweeney (Netherton) won the Skipton Craven Bowling Club's one-day competition after defeating Danny Teale (Guiseley) 21-9 in the final.
A total of 32 bowlers took part with Sweeney a deserving winner, although he did have a battle with James Teale (Rufford) in his semi-final before edging it 21-18.
The Teale brothers deserve special mention, with all three making it to the quarter-finals. Luke lost to Guiseley team-mate Joe Stockdale 21-19, while James and Danny were both beaten by Sweeney.
