RYDEN Hindle has been a busy bee, winning six medals in regional and national British Schools' Cycling Association events.
The eight-year-old from Thornton won gold at regional and national grass track, which were run concurrently at York Racecourse, gold at regional mountain bike at wild and windy Penistone Hill Country Park near Haworth and gold at regional cyclo-cross at Spen Valley High School.
Silvers in the under-nine boys' category for the Keelham Primary School pupil came in the regional time trial at the Brownlee Centre in Leeds and the national mountain bike category at Haworth.
Filling the minor placings at Haworth were Jody Mills (The Mount School, Huddersfield) and Ethan Geall (Greetland Academy, Halifax).
Ryden not only trains with Shibden Cycling Club, who have been granted permission by Bradford Council to train at Littlemoor Park in Queensbury, but also East Bradford Cycling Club.
Mum Fiona Stott said: "Littlemoor Park is a great, relatively unused area and is bringing more and more children into the sport of cycling."
