Yorkshire Women's Division Two: Acomb 4 Bingley Bees 2
BINGLEY Bees, beaten 9-0 by top-of-the-table Acomb in their earlier fixture, had an unpromising start when they were not only missing their keeper's kit but a car full of players.
Steph Robertshaw, complete with high-visibility vest, stepped in as a kicking back, but the action was at the other end thanks to Maddy Silberberg travelling half the length of the pitch to finish beautifully in the left-hand corner.
The rest of the Bees team then arrived and, ironically, they went 3-1 down and, despite a positive half-time team talk, it then became 4-1.
However, the spirited mid-table visitors at least levelled the second half with a Robbie Day goal, assisted by Mel Burgess.
