BRADFORD No 1 AA
Raskelf Lake will be closed on Sunday for the first members' match of the year, draw at lakeside 9am. This match is sold out, as are the final two of the series at Queen Mary's Ponds and Raskelf in September and October. The road at Thornton Bridge has finally reopened, making access easier.
The last few tickets for the 24-hour carp match at Knotford on Saturday, April 30 are available from James on 07786-743302.
Knotford Lagoon is continuing to fish well for carp, with many good reports being sent in by members on our Facebook page, including John Leyland catching 'Sunken Eyes' at 26lb 10oz and Reece Lisle catching 12 carp up to 25lb in a session.
Kirklees Lagoon will be closed on the morning of Sunday, May 8 for some underwater film footage. The videos will be made available on the club's website and social media platforms once we have them. There will also be a work party at Shelf Dam on the same day and any volunteers would be greatly appreciated.
SKIPTON AA
Sunday's taster day is at Whinnygill Reservoir (10am) and is open to prospective new anglers of all ages. All tackle, bait and tuition will be provided free of charge and there are numerous prizes and goodie bags available. Skipton Summer League dates and venues: May 1 Swine Lane, May 15 Gas Works Silsden, May 29 Long Ing, June 19 Swine Lane, July 3 Gas Works, July 17 Coal Bunkers, West Marton; July 31 Bradley, August 7 Coal Bunkers. Work on resurfacing the car park at Knotford is underway, while at Kippax Park bushes have been planted around Osprey Lake to act as a windbreak. Both lakes have been stocked with small carp. Fishing at Pilley's Dam has been suspended and members should not aggravate matters by fishing this water. BRADFORD PALS AC

Our next match is on Sunday, May 15 at Lindholme Lakes on Bonsai, cafe opens 7.15am. Feed pellets must be used, meat is banned. This is also the second round of the club knockout. Everyone is booked on for this match, so if you can't make it you must notify the match secretary by Sunday, May 8 or you will be charged a peg fee. GREAT HORTON AC
Result of our match on Sunday at Langwith Lakes (Bethany's Pond): 1 J Sutcliffe 20lb 2oz, 2 M McDonald 18lb 13oz, 3 P Weston 18lb 6oz, 4 O Hudspith 17lb 8oz. The weather was fine and sunny and there was a great turnout. A special thank you to Bob Smithson and we wish a speedy recovery to Mick Lyons.
BRADFORD SEA AC
The general meeting was well attended, with many subjects discussed – the main one being that we have a trip, which is now full, to Rhyl on Wednesday, May 4. There are plenty of dabs, dogs and whiting to be caught. Fishing out of Whitby on the wrecks is improving as the weather settles down.
BINGLEY AC
Sunday's match will be on the canal at Crossflatts, draw 9am top of canal road, call Tony on 07971-428678 to book on. With the rivers now at decent levels, one member has reported catching trout and grayling on nymph on the River Aire.
CENTRAL AC
Our next match is at Tollerton on Sunday, meet at venue 8am, fishing 9am-3pm.
