Simon Bedford and Chris Brannan, from Thornton Conservative Club, beat Howard Mawson and Chris Metcalfe, of the Regal Snooker Centre, to be crowned Bradford Pairs champions at Lilycroft Working Men's Club.
It was Bedford and Brannan's first pairs final, while Mawson and Metcalfe were playing in their fifth, having been runners-up in the previous four finals.
The match got off to a scrappy start, with Metcalfe missing a fantastic opportunity to claim the frame, missing the blue in the corner pocket, and Bedford stepped in to pot blue, then pink to take a 1-0 lead.
The second saw an exchange of safety before Bedford made an 81 to take the Thornton pair into a 2-0 lead, which soon became 3-0, Bedford's first visit to the table producing another 81 break and with it the 2007 title.
In addition to the title, Bedford also made the competition's highest break of 107 in the semi-final against Wahid Khan and Tanveer Mohammed.
The singles final between Bedford and Wayne Cooper will be featured in tomorrow night's regular weekly column.
