BRADFORD-based Fusion Martial Arts Centre won two gold medals and two silvers in the World Kickboxing Council's European Championships at the H George Carnall Leisure Centre in Manchester.
Kieron Greenwood was a class above his opponent in the final of the -55kg light contact category for cadet boys aged 13-16, and stopped his opponent three times before the referee ruled Kieron a winner, while Richard O'Flynn won the -75kg light contact section for men over 35, and also took a silver in the -85kg semi-contact category for men aged over 42.
Fusion's other silver came for Ste Grimshaw, who was controversially ruled against in the light contact men's -85kg section.
Fusion MAC operates from within St Andrews Mill on Legrams Lane, and teaches kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Brazilian ju-jitsu from ages five to adult.
