FOUR youngsters who were riding on behalf of Bradford-based Paul Milnes Cycles won the under-14 boys' team prize in the National Youth Tour event in the Isle of Man, which coincided with the Tour de Yorkshire.
They led the race at the end of each of the three days, starting with a prologue on the sea front at Douglas on the Friday evening, followed by a road race around Ellerslie in torrential rain and wind on the Saturday afternoon and the final stage on Sunday around Ramsey sea front.
The boys were Huddersfield's Fin Cooper-Oldroyd, who is normally associated with cyclo-cross, and guests Ollie Rees (Holmfirth Cycling Club), Sam Watson (Chevin Trek.com) and Dylan Westley (Alba Rosa), both from Roundhay.
