SHIPLEY'S Luke Pinder has made the perfect start to the 2015 Michelin Clio Cup Road Series at Rockingham by winning all three races for the Jade Developments team.
The former rally driver secured pole position for each contest and went on to dominate each race from start to finish.
Pinder was never seriously challenged and also took away a 100 per cent points total after adding the bonus scores for the fastest lap in each race.
The Yorkshireman also posted a new lap record for the Road Series around Rockingham's International Super Sportscar Circuit with a time of 1min 40.435sec (69.53mph) in round one.
Pinder said: "It was the perfect weekend I suppose because it's what we came to do. We said it would be absolutely amazing if we could do it – get the three wins, the three poles and the three fastest laps – and we achieved it, and I think it'll be a good season in the Road Series."
It turned out to be a superb weekend for Pinder's Jade Developments team as his team-mate Jake Honour from Devizes came second in all three races.
