NADEEM Siddique hopes opportunity will come knocking again when he appears on the Kel Brook undercard.
The Manningham welterweight, now 37, takes on Sylwester Walczak from Poland at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena a week tomorrow.
Local hero Brook tops the event with the first defence of his IBF world title and Siddique wants to use the big occasion to remind people that he is still about.
The Golden Boy ended a five-year ring exile last June with a first-round stoppage to improve his record to 23-2.
Siddique said: “People don’t often get these opportunities so you’ve got to take them. I’ve got the will and desire to come back.
“I would love a title shot of some sort or an eliminator. As Junior Witter says, ambition is priceless.”
Tickets are available on 07756-311857.
