IT WAS a good week for Division 2A leaders Yeadon Flyers B in the Bradford Table Tennis League.
With second-placed Unity C having a free date, Yeadon would put themselves in a commanding position at the top with a victory at third-placed Laisterdyke A.
Club secretary Derek Greenwood took centre stage for Yeadon, recording three wins to lead them to a 7-3 victory.
Chris Sanderson took two and Martin Ashworth one as they maintained their unbeaten record and moved 19 points clear.
Hermits C are fourth and stayed in touch with victory over Unity D.
Paul McKrieth and Glenn Ellis were both unbeaten for Hermits but, in contrasting fashion, McKrieth dropped the opening game against Johnathon Greaves but did not lose another game in his treble.
Ellis went the long way as he overcame Bill Sugden 11-9 in the fifth, Alan Moulden was pipped 14-12 in the decider and, to clinch victory, he stopped Greaves 11-9 in the last game. Zarnab Jamal added one as Hermits triumphed 8-2.
