CITY of Bradford swimmers secured a golden haul of medals in Harrogate Swimming Club's Janus Graded Meet held at the Hydro.
Gold medals were won in the A Grade by Oliver Wain (4), Ella Jones (3), Archie Minto (2), Joey Backhouse (2), Ellen Winters, Francesca Woodman, Bethany Meer, James Lund and Sam Backhouse.
Eleven-year-old Archie Dunne also won gold in the 50m freestyle and gained a speeding ticket.
In total City secured a pleasing 16 gold, 18 silver and 12 bronze medals along with Dunne's speeding ticket.
At B grade level the 11 gold, six silver and nine bronze medals were shared between a host of swimmers.
The gold medals were secured by John Luke Huchinson (3), Ellen Winters (2), Sophie Haran (2), Ella Jones, Sam Naylor, Adam Mitchell and James Lund.
The meet was a good introduction to competitive swimming for some of City's emerging swimmers who produced a host of personal bests and Yorkshire qualifying times.
