HERMITS B's Ian Warner finished the first half of the Bradford Table Tennis League season with a flourish to cap a string of impressive displays in what is a very strong Division One.
Warner led Hermits B to the Division Two title last year, and has produced some excellent performances for the team this time around, finishing with a treble in a 6-4 victory over Hermits A.
He has played every match so far and has won 22 out of 36 for an average of 61.11, including wins over Deo Jones of Yeadon and Shayan Siraj of Embassy Police A.
Hermits B have finished in ninth place, so will be in Division 1B in the second half of the season but if Warner continues his current form they should be challenging for a top-two place.
In Division Three, Unity E made sure of the last top-half place with a 9-1 success at Bradford College.
Michael Walker and Hughie Chambers were both unbeaten, and Peter Jackson took took as Unity finished seven points clear of Fastbats E.
