Richard Fewkes, fresh from his win at the JKS Europeans, took the male veterans' kumite, David Lister won the boys' kumite 13-15 years with an excellent display of punches and takedowns, and Farsley schoolboy Joe Hird triumphed in the children’s 11 years and under kata.
Silver medals were taken by Laura Mackintosh, Isaac Mitchell, Alice Whittington and the combined team kumite of Joe Hart, Melissa Finlay, Ben Richardson, Rachel Harrison and Tom Little.
Bronze medals were taken by Melissa Finlay, Sarah Howarth and Joe Hird, the latter's in the boys' 12 years and under kumite.
Sixth Dan club instructor Matt Price said: “Well done to all that competed. This is by far the best result we have ever had at this championship.”
