Hermits B have set a hot pace in Division Two of the Bradford Summer Table Tennis League with three straight victories, including an impressive 8-2 verdict over Unity.
George Bak and Tony McGowan were both unbeaten, while Mick Kosmowsky edged out David Renton 11-9 in the fifth.
Embassy B made it two wins out of three in this section following a close contest at Hermts C.
Kath Manogue and Zarnab Jamal both won two for Hermits but Neil Foley led the way for Embassy with a treble.
Palminder Sandhu and Chris Willey added one each, and Embassy sealed victory when Foley and Sandhu took the doubles.
In Division One, the top two players in the Bradford Winter League, Tim Dyson and John Chew, gave Yeadon A the edge against Yeadon C in the first of several derby clashes.
Dyson did not drop a game in winning his three singles, while Chew also won three.
The C team trio of Deo Jones, Fred Yeung and Sam Clayton all overcame Peter Clarkson but the A team were 6-4 winners.
