Mark Hirst became Bradford billiards champion for the sixth time when he retained his title at Clayton Liberal Club, beating Paul Devitt 526-289 in the final.
A solid start brought Hirst three breaks of around 30 to establish a lead of nearly 100 before Devitt responded with a 30 of his own, leaving Hirst 265-141 up at the interval.
Further breaks of 49 and 59 secured victory for the defending champion.
Meanwhile, Undercliffe Cricket Club’s Kevin Firth and Wayne Cooper won their fifth Bradford Snoo-ker Pairs title, defeating Clayton Liberals duo Mark Slater and Jason Murga-troyd at Eccleshill Victoria Conservative Club.
The 2005 champions took the first frame but that was as good as it got, with Firth and Cooper winning 4-1.
Upper Bolton Cons took the Heys Trophy title with victory over Windhill Cons B at East Ward.
The E Rosse Hopkinson Plate final takes place tomorrow night at Undercliffe Cricket Club, with East Ward taking on Clayton Rugby A (7.45pm).
