City of Bradford Swimming Club members were on top of the rostrum at Harrogate Swimming Club's Spa Town A-B Grade Meet at The Hydro.
Outstanding performances, and gold medals, went: Oliver Wain (5), Sophie Haran (3), Sophie Holdsworth (3), Frankie Woodman (3) and one each for Sophia and Natalia Basaraba, Siobhan Akers, Oliver Steel and Megan Anderton.
In total, City had 20 golds, seven silvers and ten bronzes at A-Grade level.
At B-grade level, swimmers on top of the podium were: Ellen Winters (3), Sophie Haran (2), Abigail Shuttleworth, Joshua Taylor, Oliver Steel and Alex Medd.
In total at this level, City’s medal haul was nine golds, 19 silvers and 24 bronzes.
Several swimmers also gained speeding tickets at this meet.
It was a good introduction to competitive swimming for some of City’s emerging swimmers, all of whom train with Bradford Leisure Services' Aquatic Competition Programme.
