Team Heckmondwike speedway star Pawel Idziorek travelled to Exeter for the Euro Club Championships, racing for Polish team Ostrow.

The team consisted of Piotr Kasperczak, Pawel Idziorek, Marcin Kolata, Syzmon Kowalczyk and world junior champion Bartosz Grabowski.

With two races remaining there was only one point in it but two wins for Ostrow’s Grabowski and Idziorek saw them over the finishing line as Torun’s challenge faded. Leszno took the third spot, with Ipswich fourth.

Team Heckmondwike travel to Manchester this weekend for the Northern Knockout Cup.
