FARVIEW LAKES
The second of Farview Lakes’ fortnightly open matches at Cottingley was again affected by the weather. Fifteen hardy souls turned up to fish and during the course of the day had everything thrown at them, torrential rain, gale-force winds, hailstones and sunshine. The conditions made fishing the pole difficult for most but the results were still good, with a very tight top three and most anglers weighing over 20lb. Result: 1 Jimmy Redmond 47lb 4oz, 2 Andy Rawson 45lb 12oz, 3 Kenny Dixon 45lb 8oz.
