Jack Hawksworth will tomorrow hope to stake his claim for a 2014 IndyCar Series seat during a Honda manufacturer test with Dale Coyne Racing at Sebring International Raceway in Florida.
The Cullingworth driver took fourth place in the Firestone Indy Lights title standings this year and brought the 22-year-old firmly on to the radar of Coyne, a man well-renowned for his talent-spotting ability.
Hawksworth enjoyed an IndyCar testing debut with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing at the same circuit in September and impressed the team.
He said: “The Honda manufacturer test is a massive shop window and an exciting opportunity to measure myself against the leading IndyCar drivers and really prove my potential at the highest level.”
