National record holder Chris Brown helped Yorkshire win the regional round of the National Masters Inter-County Championships for the second year in succession.
The City of Bradford member travelled to the Darlington meet as part of a strong team and his swims helped secure the victory.
Brown competed in the 50 metres backstroke, freestyle and butterfly events, as well as three team races.
And he logged wins in both the backstroke and butterfly individual events and all his team races to contribute valuable points.
The final tally was Yorkshire 286 points followed by Cheshire with 255, Northumberland & Durham on 205, Cumbria 142 and Lancashire 89.
Yorkshire placed fourth in the national standings behind Warwickshire, Devon and Hampshire.
Also representing Yorkshire at the Darlington event were City officials Aileen Ibbotson and Steven Eddison.
