Leeds Adel Fourths 2, Bingley Bees 4
Bingley Bees, who are third in Yorkshire Men's Division Five North, travelled to fourth-placed Leeds Adel Fourths, determined to consolidate their position by opening up a four-point gap.
On a pitch that was only just passed fit, the visitors took the lead in the eighth minute, Stephen Booth scoring after being given a golden opportunity from a Jack Matthews pass.
Both sides created further chances, with Adel equalising in the 28th minute, but the Bees started the second half as strongly as they had the first and, a minute in, Booth neatly deflected in a penalty corner.
Adel levelled again four minutes later but the visitors' pressure mounted, and skipper Ben Clough scored with a penalty flick in the 13th minute.
The pace continued unabated but the Bees defended stoutly and started to control midfield.
Richard Wakefield got his first goal of the season, and the Bees' fourth, with eight minutes left when he was allowed to run the ball into the D unopposed and took full advantage.
Bingley Bees 0, Brigg 1
Bingley Bees passed and moved well in this Yorkshire Women's Premier Division match but a more motivated Brigg managed to intercept enough of their passes to take advantage.
Numerous penalty corners for both sides did not bring goals, but Brigg did break the deadlock impressively, despite the hard work from Bingley's defence of Cath Burgess, Lillian Allen, Jo Dean and Steph Robertshaw.
Keeper Kirsty Matthews was player of the match for her tireless work.
Leeds Adel Seconds 2, Bingley Bees 1
The visitors, desperately needing an away win, were bottom of the Yorkshire Women's Premier Division but started well, an Emily Lawrence shot spinning off the line.
The Bees continued to work hard but Leeds Adel drew first blood.
However, Bingley fought back with an excellent team goal, Gail Day passing to Sarah Kellett, who slipped it to Emma Hinkles, who netted superbly.
The match continued to be even, only for a controversial penalty flick to Adel putting them ahead.
Robertshaw was man of the match for her tenacity in defence.
Brigg Seconds 4, Bingley Bees Seconds 0
An early start for a Bingley team that were carrying injuries and missing captain Cath Wood and two defenders proved too much.
Although the visitors lacked structure, they reached half-time at 0-0, but in the second half their midfield engine stalled.
They were further weakened when vice-captain Janice Reid came off with a pulled calf, but a blow to Jo Gray's knee meant that Reid had to come back on.
Bingley Bees could not then stem the tide and conceded four goals.
Ciara Hynds did well in marking Brigg's key midfielder but Jenny Bone was the Bees' man of the match for her tenacious defence. Brigg's choice was goalkeeper Rachel Fuller.
