Women’s world cycle speedway champion Laura Watson has been picked for the Great Britain team as she looks to defend her title.
The 18-year-old Heckmondwike rider, who won the world crown in America two years ago, is currently in Australia with the rest of the GB squad.
The 20-strong party will spend the next three weeks racing on different tracks down under against teams from around the world.
