Catch details for week ending October 27. Day ticket – Fewston 12, Swinsty 2. Total fish caught – Fewston 26, Swinsty 5. Average per rod – Fewston 2.2, Swinsty 2.5. Heaviest fish caught was a 3lb 6oz rainbow trout by John Simms using Montana. Fewston: Fresh peaty water again setting trout into deeper water. Weighed nymph and lures required to pull fish from the deep and spur trout into feeding. Swinsty: Blood worm trotted six to eight foot down taking hard-fighting trout. Catch details for month ending October 27. Day ticket – Fewston 58, Swinsty 11. Total fish caught – Fewston 181, Swinsty 29. Average per rod – Fewston 3.1, Swinsty 2.6. Heaviest fish caught was a 6lb 2oz rainbow trout by John Passelow using buzzer. Fewston: Mixed results this month, when the weather settles trout have been showing and feeding from the surface taking buzzers, nymph and dry fly (daddy’s, hoppers, PTN etc). Swinsty: Perch is the most caught fish on both worm and spinner.

LISTERHILLS AA

Any membership or day ticket money held by watchers should be handed over to the treasurer as soon as possible. An item of equipment has been found at Pilley’s and can be claimed by contacting M Johnson on site. The officials match at Oakland was won by E Harrison with 20lb 4oz of mainly small carp. The runner-up trophy was won by D Jackson with 9lb 12oz. For Sunday’s members’ match at Pilley’s, the gate will be open at 8.30am with the draw at 8.45am. Membership for the rest of the year is still available at the reduced fee of £7 for seniors and £4 for all other classes.

BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA AC

The next trip we have arranged will be to Liverpool Bay on December 14. Anyone wishing to go should telephone Dave on 07711-987833 to book a place. BRADFORD No 1 AA

Tickets are still available for the open match at Thornton Bridge and Catton on Sunday, November 10 from Simon on 01274-571175. Raskelf Lake is fishing well for bream, crucians and F1’s on worm or meat. Milby Cut Canal is worth a visit for roach and perch on maggot. Members are reminded that the club only has fishing rights to downstream of the road bridge on the right-hand bank.

GREAT HORTON AC

Result of match at Viking Deer Lake on October 27: 1 O Hudspith (37lb 10oz), 2 E Adamson (27lb 15oz), 3 joint P Corfield and P Weston (22lb 5oz). There was an excellent turn-out considering the appalling conditions.

HEWENDEN AC

The winner ov the first pike match was D Berry with 36lb 15oz, 2 K Turner 18lb 10oz, 3 G Moore 14lb 7oz. The next coarse match will be on Sunday, November 10, £10 all in, 9am draw in the car park. All members welcome.

BINGLEY AC
