Kevin Mullen became British champion despite going up a weight and taking the title fight at a week's notice
Kevin ‘Future’ Mullen and ‘Beautiful’ Ben Holdsworth, both of Bradford’s Fulinkazan Gym, won British titles at Elland Road.
Featherweight Holdsworth faced Craig Skelton from Harrogate, with Holdsworth finishing the fight in 1min 24sec of the first round with a submission.
With only a week’s notice, Mullen, who is already national champion at K1 and welterweight, stepped up in weight to face middleweight champion Nathaniel Brown.
But Mullen turned the fight in the second round and controlled his opponent to win by decision, also remaining unbeaten.
