Barry Turnbull and Alan Thornber (Silsden) and Ryan Benson and Helen Gilroy (Rufford) were the qualifiers from week one of the Guiseley Open Winter Pairs.
Turnbull and Thornber overcame Stuart and Martin Wilson (Greengates) 21-8 in their first-round match.

The Silsden duo raced into a 16-0 lead and although their opponents made a spirited comeback, it was not enough to prevent a 21-9 exit.
Benson and Gilroy defeated Dave Clarke and Eric Cullingworth (Doncaster) 21-8 to set up a game against the Greengates pairing of Bob Jeffrey and Dave Rankin.
The Rufford pairing raced into a 9-1 lead, which they extended to 19-8 before a late flourish by Jeffrey and Rankin saw them finish with 14 points.
