Lifeline Leisure's Gareth and Anthony Green have retained the Bradford Snooker Pairs Championship.
They beat Undercliffe Cricket Club's Kevin Firth and Dave Stirk after a fantastic exhibition of cueing at Great Horton Conservative Club.
Gareth opened with a break of 30 in the first frame, Firth replying with an effort of 60, but the Greens went one up courtesy of a 33 clearance by Gareth.
It was soon 2-0, with Gareth showing the class that has brought him the last four Bradford singles titles, making an early break of 41 and then clearing the table at his next visit with a 75 break.
Stirk found his touch in frame three, and the Undercliffe pair pulled a frame back, but Anthony made a superb break of 48 in frame four to give the brothers a lead they wouldn't relinquish, and with it a 3-1 victory.
This capped a fantastic week in particular for Gareth, who had fallen one match short on two recent occasions from joining the professional ranks via the Q-School.
But he was invited to participate in the WPBSA qualifiers during the week of the Wuxi China Open and the Australian Open, with a number of top professionals pulling out.
Green didn't qualify for the Australian Open, despite beating professional Jak Jones in his first match, but he did qualify for the main event in China, beating world No 50 Liu Chuang 5-4 to book his place in the last 64 at the end of the month.
