BRADFORD NO 1 AA

Raskelf Lake will be closed on Sunday for the second members’ match of the year. Anglers should meet in the car park at 9.15am.

Chellow Dene is fishing exceptionally well for roach, chub and bream on maggot and waggler.

Shelf Dam is producing some good nets of skimmers and roach fishing shallow, and larger bream up to 5lb on the bottom. Knotford is worth a visit this week for carp, tench and bream.

A pair of glasses have been found in a peg at Kirklees Lagoon. If these are yours, please contact 01274-571175 to organise return.

Members are reminded that gates must be closed at all times, especially at Raskelf, Ripon and Knotford.

SALTAIRE AA

At Tong Park, fish are being seen topping and feeding now that the weather is a little warmer.
The proposed hydropower scheme would badly affect our fishing. More information about the scheme at http://saltairescrewed.wix.com/saltaire-screwed. We would urge all members to add their name to the e-petition on the Council's website at http://epetition.bradford.public-i.tv/epetition_core/view/SaltaireScrewed. There have been good catches of perch and bream from the canal, both on the boats' length and at Dockfield.
