Wilsden’s Richard Vaughan helped his Thorite-sponsored Racetec Team win their class in the first round of the 2013 Northern Speed Championship at 3 Sisters Race Circuit near Wigan.
The single-seater racing car performed flawlessly, enabling Vaughan to begin this year’s campaign by taking maximum points.
The Championship runs from April to October and comprises 17 one and two-day events, held at 3 Sisters, Harewood Hill Climb near Leeds, Oliver’s Mount Hill Climb in Scarborough, Ty Croes Race Circuit in Anglesey and Blyton Park Race Circuit in Lincolnshire.
