Bingley Bees Seconds 1, Pocklington 2
Bingley Bees Seconds suffered their second defeat in three matches to drop to sixth in Yorkshire Women's Division Four.
They were expecting a tough match as they faced promotion-chasing Pocklington at Bradford Grammar School.
The visitors had most of the pressure in a lively start, and Bees keeper Rachel Fuller, who was their player of the match, had to be on top form to deny them.
However, Pocklington were not to be denied and led 1-0 at half-time.
Nevertheless, the Bees were determined in the second half, a quick free-hit pass from Cath Wood into the circle creating a rebound to the stick of Rachel Belk, who wasted no time in burying the ball in the back of the net.
Bingley Bees' first team lost 6-0 at fourth-placed Sheffield Hallam Seconds to drop to seventh in the Yorkshire Women's Premier Division.
