BRADFORD City Women have their own marquee FA Cup tie this weekend, as they visit Preston North End in the first round.
The Bantams ladies have already beaten Farsley Celtic and Chesterfield to get to this stage, and will be slight favourites to win in Lancashire tomorrow, given they play a tier higher than Preston.
City have also won against North End in the FA Cup recently, winning the pair’s third qualifying round tie 2-0 at Horsfall in 2022.
Bantams skipper Monika Stube has been speaking to the club’s in house media ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup tie.
She said: “Heading into this weekend off the back of a good (league) win against Sunderland West End, we’re well aware of the threat we carry within our squad.
“But we know we can’t take anything for granted and we must stay focused on how we’re going to use our strengths.
“The FA Cup is a competition everyone loves being a part of, so bring it on.”
