BRADFORD Bulls' Wheelchair vice captain Isabelle Wright scored her first try for England on Saturday as they faced off with France at Wigan’s Robin Park Arena.
The match was part of the England Wheelchair Rugby League Futures Programme, and Wright earned her selection at the start of October.
Both the junior and women's sides competed in Origin style representative matches at Robin Park, and it represented a repeat of the 2021 World Cup Final when England took on France in a test match.
The Women’s and Juniors squads for the England Wheelchair Rugby League Futures Programme included players from six clubs in Yorkshire - Wakefield Trinity, York, Sheffield Eagles, Bradford Bulls, Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos – plus Bedford, Gravesend and Woodlands from the south-east.
