BRADFORD Bulls fans have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the shock news that Eamon O’Carroll will no longer be the head coach of the club.

The side from Odsal confirmed the 37-year-old’s departure yesterday evening and it sent shockwaves, for the most part, around the rugby league community.

Although it has not been confirmed which club he will be joining just yet, O’Carroll will be joining a Super League side in a new coaching role.

The former Catalan Dragons assistant took charge of his final game in the Bradford dugout last Sunday, as his side fell to a heartbreaking 21-20 defeat at Toulouse in the semi-final of the Betfred Championship play-offs.

Following the game, O’Carroll spoke about his desire to push on with the club and go one step further in sealing promotion to the Super League next season.

If Bulls are to do that, it will be with a different man at the helm……
