Four clubs have nominees for the three Betfred Championship end of season awards, with Bradford Bulls talent Jayden Myers gaining recognition for a stellar campaign.
The 21-year-old centre has been a key part of a campaign which saw the Bulls finish third, setting up a play-off eliminator against Featherstone Rovers at Odsal this afternoon.
He is up for the Young Player of the Year award alongside York Knights ace Brad Ward and Wakefield Trinity’s Oliver Pratt.
Trinity also have two contenders – full-back Max Jowitt and forward Ky Rodwell – in a quartet in the running for the Player of the Year award.
They will go up against Anthony Marion of Toulouse and Jordan Thompson of York for that prize.
Daryl Powell is a nominee for Coach of the Year, as is Toulouse’s Sylvain Houles and York’s Mark Applegarth.
The nominees and award winners are decided by a poll of coaches at the 14 Betfred Championship clubs.
The winners will be announced at the Rugby League Awards at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds this coming Tuesday (October 8).
