THE Bradford Bulls Foundation has announced that it has been awarded a grant of £96,940 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for its project, “The History of Bradford & District Amateur Rugby League.”
This significant funding will support the creation of a virtual museum dedicated to chronicling the rich history of amateur rugby league in Bradford.
The project aims to bring together collaborative research from local clubs and family participation to preserve and celebrate the heritage of rugby league in the community.
The virtual museum will serve as a comprehensive resource, showcasing the stories, achievements, and contributions of amateur rugby league players and clubs throughout the district.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from our community and partners,” said Chris Chamberlain, CEO at the Bradford Bulls Foundation.
“This grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund will enable us to document and share the vibrant history of amateur rugby league in Bradford, ensuring that future generations can appreciate and learn from this important aspect of our local culture.”
