HARRY Ibbitson has joined non-league Kidderminster Harriers on a six-week loan.

The 18-year-old striker signed his first pro contract with City during the summer.

But Graham Alexander wants to send him out to gain match experience with Harriers, who are managed by former Hull and Southend boss Phil Brown.

They were relegated to the sixth tier from the National League last season and currently sit in sixth spot, seven points behind leaders Scunthorpe, after winning four of the first eight games.

Ibbitson bagged 29 goals for City’s under-18s last term and reportedly attracted interest from Premier League academies.

Alexander had planned to include him on the senior bench towards the end of the season but the teenager missed out through illness.

Now he has the chance to make his mark in a loan spell with the former league club.
