JORGE Taufua has received a one-game ban following his late yellow card in the 22-21 defeat to Featherstone in the Betfred Championship last Sunday.
He is available for this Sunday’s game at Doncaster, but will have to sit out the upcoming fixture against Dewsbury next Friday at Odsal.
In one of the more unusual suspensions of the season, he has been found guilty of a hair pull on Featherstone’s Ben Reynolds, with the offence seeing him hit with a Grade B Other Contrary Behaviour charge.
Taufua’s bans have been a real problem for the Bulls this year.
He was sin-binned in the season opener at Wakefield, earning himself a two-game suspension for Grade C Head Contact as he desperately tried and failed to stop Josh Griffin from scoring a try.
And off the ball contact in the draw with Toulouse back in July led to him receiving a one-game ban for Grade B Other Contrary Behaviour.
His first season at Bulls was marred by suspension too, as he was controversially banned for six games following an alleged biting offence against Barrow in July 2023.
