BRADFORD City Women's legend, Charlotte Stuart has made her next move.

The Bantams mainstay announced her departure from the club at the start of July, 2023, having previously been in the manager’s hotseat in a player-coach role.

However, Stuart’s stocks remained high and South Yorkshire outfit Barnsley Women’s Football Club swooped in to sign the midfielder just weeks later.

But this summer the City stalwart has moved back to West Yorkshire to help Huddersfield Town achieve promotion back to the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women's National League at the first time of asking.

The Terriers were relegated from the third division after collecting only nine points in the entire campaign.

Stewart, who was named Barnsley Women's Player of the Season back in May, will have to overcome strong competition along with her teammates to achieve immediate promotion.

They'll take on Barnsley FC, Leeds United and Middlesbrough to name a few.

Stuart commented through her X account (formerly known as Twitter): "I'm extremely excited for the season to start."
