Betfred League 1 side Hunslet have signed youngster Mackenzie Scurr from Bradford Bulls on a deal until the end of the season.
The winger had already spent time with the Parksiders this year, so the move was a “no-brainer” for head coach Dean Muir.
He said: “Mackenzie was great for us while on loan from Bradford, so it was a no-brainer to sign him for the remainder of the season.”
Meanwhile, young Sam Ackroyd has joined Bradford’s Championship rivals Whitehaven on loan until the end of the season.
The half-back will not be eligible to play for the Cumbrians on Sunday though, when they take on Bulls at Odsal in a league match.
