AN all-new fanzone area named the Bantams Clubhouse will be introduced ahead of the 2024/25 season, and piloted for the first time when the Bantams host Sunderland on Tuesday July 30 (7.30pm).
Delivered by the Bradford City Community Foundation in association with Bradford City AFC and BEAP Community Partnership - and supported by the Premier League Fans Fund - the Bantams Clubhouse will be located at the BEAP Community Partnership on Midland Road between Holywell Ash Lane and Cornwall Road.
It will provide the perfect place for the club’s younger supporters to take part in some fun pre-match activities, free of charge.
The Bantams Clubhouse will be open ahead of each Saturday home game, for those aged between 5 and 16 years old, and their parents/guardians/carers. There will also be a craft and play area located in the wellbeing room for under-5s. This will support families who attend with children aged 0-16, ensuring all children have the opportunity to take part in activities.
Facilities available at the Bantams Clubhouse include a sports hall, outdoor 3G pitch and a games room where children and young people will be able to take part in a variety of activities - including football-related games and arts and crafts.
Supporters interested in attending the pilot of the Bantams Clubhouse at City’s pre-season visit of Sunderland on Tuesday July 30 must book onto one of two time slots via Bradford's official ticketing website, by CLICKING HERE.
PLEASE NOTE: You will only be able to book onto a time slot using a child’s ticketing account and, for safeguarding purposes, children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/carer when attending the Bantams Clubhouse.
After the pilot has taken place against Sunderland, more details will be revealed on the Bantams Clubhouse ahead of the start of 2024/25, including details on what times it will be open on matchdays.
The Bantams Clubhouse forms a part of the Bradford City Community Foundation’s ‘Achieving Goals Together’ project, in which they aim to enhance community wellbeing, promote inclusivity, and grow a diverse fan base by offering a range of physical and mental health activities, fostering community engagement, and providing financial accessibility to club activities.
The Premier League Fans Fund provides grants to support football clubs at all levels of the game to strengthen connections between them, their fans, and local communities.
The fund supports a range of fan-focused and fan-led projects, helping to foster a sense of belonging through meaningful engagement, including schemes for under-represented groups, to further develop an inclusive and welcoming matchday experience for everyone.
