FORTUNATELY for Bulls, Mitch Souter and Eliot Peposhi both passed their HIA assessments in the win over Sheffield last Sunday, so are free to face Batley this weekend.

The young duo were on the end of poor high tackles from Eagles players, and one of those visiting tacklers has been punished.

Souter was felled by back rower Alex Foster, with the incident immediately placed on report by referee James Vella.

And the Rugby Football League have taken a dim view of the challenge, handing down a two-game ban to Foster yesterday following a disciplinary review.

Foster has been hit with a Grade C Dangerous Contact charge, and his suspension will start next Sunday, when the Eagles travel to Batley.

He is however free to play tonight for play-off hopefuls Sheffield, as they host Dewsbury in the Betfred Championship.

Foster, 30, was briefly a Bulls player himself, signing for the club ahead of the 2017 season.

But financially-stricken Bradford were liquidated before the beginning of that campaign, meaning the back row was released.

He instead joined Castleford in February 2017, spending five seasons at The Jungle.
