CITY sunk to a third straight home defeat as Notts County rounded off a week from hell last night.
T&A chief sports writer SIMON PARKER witnessed the latest Valley Parade loss and provides the match stats and his player ratings.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Sam Walker prevented Notts County from scoring more with several big saves and could not be blamed for any of their three goals.
MOMENT OF THE MATCH
City came close to equalising when Harry Chapman’s diving header hit the post after a barnstorming run from Daniel Oyegoke set him up.
MOAN OF THE MATCH
For the third game in a row, the Bantams conceded from a set-piece with Alassana Jatta heading home from a free-kick at the far post as Mansfield’s Baily Cargill had done on Saturday.
TACTICS
Andy Cook and Brad Halliday both came straight back in as Graham Alexander made three changes from the Mansfield horror show.
There was also a first start in the league since October 3 for Daniel Oyegoke, covering Jon Tomkinson’s international absence as the third centre half.
Tyreik Wright and Clarke Oduor dropped to the bench with Tyler Smith and Jamie Walker, playing in a more familiar attacking role, operating up front with Cook.
The bench included a return for Matty Platt, although he was not ready to be risked for a start after his recent injury.
