AN extremely rare programme from City’s first league home game has gone under the hammer.
The incredible find from the Division Two match against Gainsborough at Valley Parade on September 5, 1903 was recently auctioned.
And it has been sold for a hammer price of a cool £2,200.
The programme originally belonged to Leonard Turner, who was among the 11,000 crowd to watch City’s home debut – which they lost 3-1.
It was discovered tucked away in a box by grandson Andy while going through the papers of his late father.
