PETERBOROUGH will be waiting at Wembley in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy final if the Bantams get there.
Darren Ferguson’s side booked their place in the April 7 showpiece after a 3-0 win at Blackpool tonight.
Former Bantams keeper Richard O’Donnell gave away a second-half penalty as Peterborough deservedly saw off their League One rivals.
O’Donnell had kept the home side in it during the first half with a couple of crucial saves.
But he was beaten on 37 minutes by an emphatic finish from Malik Mothersille.
Blackpool came more into it after the break but Peterborough continued to carry the bigger attacking threat.

Ephron Mason-Clark was denied a second Posh goal by Marvin Ekpiteta’s goalline clearance.
But O’Donnell was penalised for clipping Ricky-Jade Jones in the box with 12 minutes left.
It looked a harsh decision from referee Lewis Smith, who booked the keeper, before Harrison Burrows sent O’Donnell the wrong way from the spot.
And Peterborough skipper Burrows made certain of an emphatic victory for the visitors with a second goal in stoppage time.
