HARRY Lewis is being linked with a shock exit from Valley Parade, according to reports.
The City stopper, who has played every league game since signing for the club in the summer of 2022, is a reported target for Carlisle.
Respected national journalists Alan Nixon and Mike Keegan are both suggesting that a deal for an undisclosed fee could even go through today.
The Cumbrians are chasing a keeper in their battle to avoid dropping straight back to League Two after last season’s promotion.
They have also been linked with MK Dons keeper Craig MacGillivray but he is expected to join Stevenage.

Carlisle are spending money in the window after recently being taken over by American owners, the Castle Sports Group.
Lewis has made 86 appearances for City with 28 clean sheets. The 26-year-old’s contract is up in the summer, although City have the option of a further season.
He was targeted by League One Barnsley in the summer but their offer was rejected.
Lewis played against Carlisle four times last season, including City's play-off heartache at Brunton Park.
He was one of seven players left out of the starting line-up for yesterday's Bristol Street Motors Trophy tie at Derby.
Asked after last night’s win if any movement in or out was expected in the coming days, boss Graham Alexander said: “I don’t know. I’ve tried to put that on the backburner to focus on this game.
“I had a brief conversation with Ryan (Sparks) yesterday (Monday) but then I said I wanted to focus on the game.
“We’ll pick up conversations tomorrow because it’s a day off for the players.
“We’ll know more Thursday about what the potential future looks like but nothing’s guaranteed in or out at the moment. We’ll just see what the future brings.”
