CITY are one of just three League Two teams still in the northern section of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
The Bantams booked their place in tomorrow’s draw for the last-16 of the competition with an emphatic 4-0 win over Liverpool under-21s at Valley Parade.
The third round will again be regionalised – with City set to face one of seven possible opponents.
And just Yorkshire rivals Doncaster or Accrington Stanley, if they get past Lincoln first after their game on Tuesday was postponed, are in the same division.
City will be ball number three in the draw, which is being shown live on Sky Sports from 6.30pm tomorrow in the build-up to their coverage of the Championship game between Coventry and Birmingham.
The third-round tie will take place in the week beginning January 8.
DRAW NUMBERS:
1 Blackpool
2 Bolton

5 Derby
6 Doncaster
7 Accrington/Lincoln
8 Wigan.
