DANIEL Oyegoke’s future at City is up in the air after a shoulder operation.
Graham Alexander this afternoon confirmed the Brentford loanee has undergone surgery.
Oyegoke joined the Bantams in the summer on a season-long stay – but that may now be cut short because of the time he faces out of action.
The City boss said: “He’s having surgery so he’s going to be out for a little while. He won’t be available to us.
“We still have to have a conversation with Brentford about his longer future over the season.”
Oyegoke has made 17 City appearances, nine of them starts, but was forced off against Barrow in Alexander’s first game in charge.
He was on as a sub for Liam Ridehalgh when landing awkwardly on his shoulder after being fouled.
It was initially thought the shoulder was dislocated but the damage has proved to be more serious.
Alexander added: “It’s frustrating for him because I spoke to him the day after and that’s what he didn’t want to be the case. But unfortunately it is.”
