BRADFORD Bulls look set to announce a dual-registration partner tomorrow.
They have linked up with neighbours Leeds Rhinos over the last few years, a deal that has divided opinion among fans.
Many Bradford fans have seen the quick fix of bringing Leeds players in as an obstacle to the progress of their own youngsters.
But it cannot be denied that the likes of winger Liam Tindall, now at Hull FC, have improved the Bulls squads they have been in down the years, and Betfred Championship rivals like Wakefield and Featherstone already have dual-registration partners in place for 2024.
It remains to be seen whether Bradford choose to link-up with Leeds again, or whether they go down a different path for the 2024 season.
In a club statement, they wrote: “After extensive discussions , Bradford Bulls are set to make a significant announcement regarding their 2024 strategy to dual registration.
“Scheduled for tomorrow at 12pm, the club will unveil an eagerly anticipated announcement regarding their Dual Registration strategy for the upcoming 2024 season.”
While this strongly suggests they will be announcing a Super League partner for next year, it does not explicitly say so, so this “strategy” might be something different, like a mutually beneficial partnership with a League 1 club for example.
