BRADFORD Bulls’ CEO Jason Hirst has been fined £1000 by the RFL.
The governing body has confirmed that Hirst breached three Operational Rules – D1.1(b), C2:6 and C2.10 – in a scathing statement released on August 24, following the suspension of Jorge Taufua.
The RFL commented: “Quotes attributed to Mr Hirst were found to have contained inaccuracies – most significantly around the burden of proof – which “diminished the integrity of and undermined public confidence in the RFL’s disciplinary process”.
“Half of the fine has been suspended until the end of the 2024 season.”
