Jonathan Tomkinson will not be available to play in Bradford City’s next two games, having been called up to the US Youth Men’s Olympic National Team once again.
Having been selected for his country’s November camp ahead of Paris 2024, the defender will not be available for the Bantams’ League Two game at Notts County on Saturday or next Tuesday’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy visit of Barnsley.
The Norwich City loanee made two friendly appearances for the team last month, and this time, he is heading out to a venue many of his teammates will be familiar with.
USA head to Spain’s Pinatar Arena - where the Bantams have spent the past two pre-seasons - for a youth training camp, with two friendly fixtures in the diary, in preparation for next year’s Summer Olympic Games in France.
The USA side will face Iraq this Saturday (November 18), then take on Morocco next Tuesday (November 21), before returning home the following day.
