BRADFORD City’s final EFL Trophy group stage fixture against Barnsley has been moved back a week to Tuesday, November 21.
The Bantams and the Tykes have both already qualified from Group F in the Northern Section of the competition at the expense of Manchester City’s Under-21s and Grimsby Town.
City and Barnsley have won both of their games so far, so this game at Valley Parade, which will kick off at 7:30pm, is a shootout to see who finishes top of the group, thus guaranteeing a home tie in the last-32.
The match was due to be played on Tuesday, November 14, but Barnsley will now be playing their FA Cup first round tie at Horsham on that date instead.
The League One Tykes will be kicking themselves for not finishing off Isthmian League Premier Division side Horsham at Oakwell last Friday.
But the underdogs produced a superb performance under the floodlights in South Yorkshire, coming from behind twice to earn a 3-3 draw and a home replay.
